At Paisley Flour and Paisley at 106, we strongly believe good food should be kind to the planet too. From how we source ingredients to how we run our kitchens and venues, sustainability is always a top priority for us.
We pledge to:
- Use energy and natural resources responsibly
We’ll continue to review how we heat, power, and cool our spaces to reduce unnecessary usage. - Reduce, reuse, recycle as much as possible
This also includes how we handle food waste, packaging, and disposables, both behind the scenes and front-of-house. - Support local suppliers and seasonal produce
It’s really important for us to keep our food miles low and help support the community around us. - Inspire change among our team and customers
We want to encourage greener ways of working and travelling, from cycling or walking to work to making low-waste choices day to day.
What we’re actively doing:
- Composting food waste and separating recyclables in all kitchen and service areas
- Offering plant-based and low-impact menu options
- Using local suppliers wherever possible (many of them right here in Worcestershire)
- Replacing single-use plastics with biodegradable or reusable alternatives
- Supporting staff with Cycle to Work schemes and flexible shifts to cut commutes
- Sharing sustainable practices with guests through our spaces and socials
